CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Seymour, Mo. transformers pop from heavy ice
The local electric provider in eastern Webster County is dealing with broken poles and trees on power lines. They've called in crews from neighboring companies, including Springfield's City Utilities. The Logan Rogersville Fire Protection District also sent a crew to assist. Officers say it is actually much better now than Saturday morning. The electric company will have people working through Sunday to get power back on in the area. They are worried that when the ice thaws, that could create even more outages.
The Greene County Sheriff's Office hosted the training for law enforcement officers and firefighters.
