Missouri delays income tax refunds to check for fraud

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KSPR) - Missouri taxpayers are waiting up to ten weeks for their refunds from the state. The Missouri Department of Revenue says it's checking more returns for fraud. It says, so far, $11.5 million in refund filings are fakes and will not be issued.
