We have an update about a man who was swept away as he tried to save his brother, who was drowning. It happened last week on a flooded creek near Green Forest, Arkansas.

The Oak Grove Fire and Rescue team says they found 27 year old Waeh Soe's body around 6PM Saturday. Crews had searched for Soe since Monday. His brother, Sher, drowned and was recovered.

Search crews scaled back operations shortly before finding Soe's body.

Firefighters with the Oak Grove Fire and Rescue in Carroll County, Ark., say one brother is dead and one is missing after they were washed away at a low-water crossing.

The Carroll County Sheriff's Office said Sher Soe, 22, of Green Forest said he was going to walk across the low-water crossing at Long Creek, let it sweep him out, and float down the creek. It swept him off his feet, and he got caught in the undercurrent and drowned. Waeh Soe 27, of Green Forest tried to save his brother and also went under. He remains missing. Jose Camaocho witnessed the incident and jumped into the water to help. Other people watching pulled Camaocho to safety.

Sher Soe's body was found later that night by people near the creek.

Firefighters responded to the water rescue on County Road 818 Sunday after 6:30 p.m. Two boats, two K-9 units and approximately 50 rescue workers searched the area for about hours. A swift-water rescue team in Harrison, Ark. is assisting the search Monday for the missing person.

"If the water is going over the bridge, turn around. Don't drown. Go home to the safety of your families," said Oak Grove Assistant Fire Chief Mike McKelvey.
