2 killed after wrong way driver crashes head-on into van on U.S. 65 south of Ozark

NEAR OZARK, Mo. -- The Missouri Highway Patrol reports two drivers are dead and four others face serious injuries in a crash on U.S. 65 south of Ozark.

The crash happened around the 29.2 mile marker between Ozark and Saddlebrooke early Friday afternoon shutting down both northbound and southbound lanes of U.S. 65. Dan McClain, 74, of Ozark was driving northbound in the southbound lane on U.S. 65 when he hit a van head-on.

This is Troop D's 19th and 20th fatality for 2018.
