Springfield Salvation Army Major reminds others to give during cancer battle

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3/KSPR) - Major Butch Frost of Salvation Army Springfield is fighting neck and head cancer. He was diagnosed in February of 2019. They went to the doctor thinking it was just a sore throat. Major Frost will start chemotherapy and radiation treatments at the end of June.

Those interested in purchasing a green "Team Butch" shirt as seen in the story can go to the Salvation Army Springfield location at 1707 West Chestnut Expressway.

Shirts will cost around $12. People interested need to have money ready when they place their order. Salvation Army Springfield will place a bulk order of shirts. All proceeds from the shirts go to Springfield Salvation Army programs.
