A stronger than usual earthquake strikes central Oklahoma

MEDFORD, Okla. -- A more stronger than usual earthquake struck central Oklahoma Friday afternoon.

The 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit around 3:30 p.m. The epicenter is near Medford, near the Kansas-Oklahoma state lines.

There are no reports of any damage.

It is common for small earthquakes to form in central Oklahoma.
