SAY IT AIN'T SNOW? National Weather Service issues Winter Weather Advisory for the Ozarks

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Snow in April? Yes indeed.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory until 10 a.m.. Sunday for several counties in the Ozarks. It includes Barry, Camden, Christian, Dallas, Greene, Laclede, Lawrence, Maries, Miller, Phelps, Polk, Pulaski, Stone (Mo.), Webster and Wright.

The KY3 Storm Team is tracking a brief period of heavy snow falling on portions of the Ozarks Sunday morning. We expect minor accumulations on grassy surfaces and some roadways. Conditions will likely improve by mid-morning.
