Police say public tips lead to the arrest of a Springfield bank robbery suspect

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Police arrested a man wanted for a bank robbery in Springfield in November.

Tips from the public led to the arrest of Donald D. Hosey, III. He faces a first-degree robbery charge. A judge set bond at $50,000.

Officers responded to the robbery Thursday, November 29 around 2:30 p.m. at the Guaranty Bank at 2109 North Glenstone. Investigators say Hosey approached the teller and displayed a threatening note demanding money.
