THAYER, Mo. -- The Thayer, Mo. Police Department is asking for help in solving a theft at a business.

Officers say the thief stole property from Hirsch Feed and Farm Supply on July 28. They believe the man was at the location for four-and-a-half hours in the overnight hours loading the property onto a box truck.

The Pocahontas, Ark. Police Department made contact with the thief abandoning the box trailer, which was empty the next morning. They described him as a 50-60-years-old man, around six-foot-tall, clean cut and short hair.

Hirsch Feed and Farm Supply is offering to pay a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction.
