One arrest made in shooting deaths of husband and wife from Tunas

TUNAS, Mo. -- Jeffrey Dale Lee Stevenson is in the Camden County jail, facing two murder charges in the shooting deaths of Joe and Brandy Allen Sunday morning.

According to a post on the Dallas County Sheriff's Office Facebook Page, Stevenson was arrested Wednesday night in the Macks Creek area. Deputies with the sheriff's office and the Lake Area Major Case Squad made the arrest.

The sheriff's office says they are still looking for Billy Medley, 22. The sheriff's office says Medley should be considered armed and dangerous. If you know where he is located, call the sheriff's office at (417) 345-2441 or 911.

The sheriff's office says the Allens woke up to someone trying to steal their vehicles. When they walked outside to confront the burglars, the Allens were shot and killed in their front yard.

Joseph and Brandy Allen will be remembered at the church they attended, Hopewell Free Will Baptist Church in Tunas. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9 to 11 with the funeral following.
