National Weather Service issues Winter Weather Advisory for much of the Ozarks

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Ozarks next winter weather storm could have everything from rain, ice, and snow.

The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for several counties across the Ozarks. The counties include Barton, Benton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Howell, Laclede, Lawrence, Oregon, Ozark, Polk, St. Clair, Stone (Mo.), Taney, Vernon, Webster and Wright. It lasts from Friday morning to Saturday night.

Snow accumulations are expected with this storm. However, a glaze of ice is also possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
