SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (Edited News Release) -- A popular country music DJ is coming to Missouri State University next fall.
Bobby Bones, an on-air personality and host of the award-winning “The Bobby Bones Show,” will be the 2019 Public Affairs Conference keynote speaker. His speech is set for 7:30 p.m. October 1 at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts.
The keynote event starts the conference, scheduled from October 1-3. The theme is “The 21st Century Digital World.”
“Bobby Bones is an innovator who uses social media effectively and ethically to grow his brand,” said Brent Dunn, Missouri State University Foundation executive director. “He’s an ideal person to discuss what it means to be an ethical leader in a digital world.”
Bones’ keynote is free and open to the public thanks to the Missouri State University Foundation with support from 100.5 The Wolf – #1 For New Country. No tickets are required.
Enjoy a VIP reception with Bones
The Foundation will host a private reception with Bones prior to his speech Oct. 1. Guests will have a photo opportunity with Bones and receive an autographed copy of his The New York Times bestselling book, “Fail Until You Don’t: Fight. Grind. Repeat.,” released in June 2018.
