LOUISBURG, Mo. -- A man convicted of a gruesome murder in Dallas County will spend the rest of his life in prison.
Adam Redding was sentenced Friday for the stabbing death of 73-year old Carroll Ford.
A judge found Redding guilty of stabbing his boss to death near Louisburg, in September.
Redding worked on the victim's farm. Investigators say he stabbed Carroll Ford more than 30 times in December 2017.
Prosecutors say Redding got angry when the 73-year-old confronted him about not showing up for work. The probable cause statement says Redding came back to the farm to see if Ford was still alive, but he was already dead.
Redding was found guilty on charges of first degree murder and armed criminal action. Redding also pleaded guilty to two counts of forgery.
