Law enforcement searching for missing Camden County teenager

LAKE OZARK, Mo. -- The Camden County Sheriff's Department needs your assistance in locating a missing teenager.

Deputies say Nikki Gallman, 13, disappeared from her home on UTE Road in Lake Ozark Monday around midnight. A homeowner found the girl hiding in a stairwell around 7:45 a.m. at a home off Cherokee Road. When she saw the homeowner, she then ran again into nearby woods. The Missouri Highway Patrol used a helicopter to search the area without any luck.

Nikki is described as being slim build, 5'3", light skin tone, medium length brown hair, brown eyes. She is wearing blue jeans, black and white tennis shoes, gray t-shirt. Hair may be in a bun.
