Prosecutors charge man in deadly shootings in St. Robert; suspect remains on the run

ST. ROBERT, Mo. -- The Pulaski County sheriff has identified a suspect in a shooting that killed two, and injured two others in St. Robert

Richard Romel Taylor, 44, of Devil's Elbow, Mo., is charged with two counts of murder. He remains on the run. The sheriff considers him armed and dangerous. Taylor is on probation for a prior murder conviction when the suspect was just 16.

The sheriff says Jamel Holt, 34, of St. Louis, is also wanted for questioning in the case. He does not face any charges.

Investigators say all four shot were in the same car when the gunman fired into it multiple times. That car was parked just off of I-44. The sheriff has not released the names of the victims.

The Lake Area Major Case Squad is assisting investigators for this shooting.
