WASHINGTON, D.C. - Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley says he is "impressed" with William Barr, the man President Trump has nominated to be the next United States Attorney General.
Hawley is a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is holding a confirmation hearing on Barr's nomination.
In an interview with KY3/KSPR, Hawley, a first term Republican, said "I'm very impressed with him. He's hugely qualified. If you watched his performance today on the judiciary committee, this is a guy who is well informed, he is well prepared, he is a very accomplished lawyer. He led the justice department with distinction and I think he'll be a great attorney general."
