Gas prices spiking in the Ozarks

By  |

Springfield, Mo. Gas prices are spiking around the nation, and here in the Ozarks. Harvey hit some major oil pipelines hard, and that's driving up prices, along with the Labor Day Weekend.

AAA says the nation is seeing its highest gas prices of the year. The national average for a gallon of unleaded gas is now at $2.52.
In Missouri, the average is lower, at $2.38, but that's up 25 cents in just the past week.
Meanwhile, Arkansas's average is lower still, at $2.28, but that's still up 18 cents in just the past week.

You're going to pay more wherever you go. But, if you want to find the cheapest gas in your town, before the big holiday weekend, just go to Gas Buddy. You can find that on this website. Just go to the menu in the top left corner, and scroll down.
