FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Storm Prediction Center issues Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Ozarks

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- You need all eyes to the skies Thursday in the Ozarks.

The Storm Prediction Center issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for nearly all of the Ozarks through 8 p.m. Thursday. It includes Barry, Barton, Camden, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence, McDonald, Newton (Mo.), Ozark, Polk, Pulaski, St. Clair, Taney, Texas, Vernon, Webster and Wright Counties in Missouri. It includes Benton (Mo.), Boone, Carroll, Madison Marion, Newton (Ark.), Searcy and Washington Counties in Arkansas.

The KY3 First Alert Weather team is tracking a line of strong storms into the Ozarks. The biggest threats include hail, high winds and heavy rain.
