CONFIRMED: EF1 tornado damaged homes, trees in Eldon, Mo. Wednesday night

ELDON, Mo. -- The National Weather Service confirms an EF-1 tornado hit Eldon, Mo. late Wednesday night.

The twister started just before 11 p.m. southwest of Eldon and tracked for 13 miles. The storm packed winds of 104 miles-per-hour.

The storm damaged rooftops, trees, and the city's baseball field. One person suffered injuries.
