Deputy arrests man driving erratic through Springfield yards

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A Greene County deputy arrested a man who bailed during a traffic stop in Springfield Tuesday.

Around the noon hour, a deputy began following a driver traveling erratic near Mount Vernon and Laurel. Deputies say he drove through a couple of yards. Then pulled into a church parking lot at Clifton and State. The officer then arrested him.

The deputy said the driver at one point showed a weapon.
