Deputies arrest man wanted in stabbing in Richland, Mo.

RICHLAND, Mo. -- The Pulaski County (Mo.) Sheriff's Office arrested a man for the stabbing of another man Sunday.

Officers responded to a home off of Swidell Road in Richland. The victim suffered several stab wounds to the arm and chest area. Deputies considered his injuries as life-threatening. The victim's name has not been released.

Deputies later located suspect James Acklin in a black Jeep. Deputies found a knife in the Jeep they believe was related to the attack.

Pulaski County's prosecutor filed assault charges against Acklin. A judge ordered a $750,000 bond for Acklin's release.
