Christian County sheriff lobbies Congress about immigration reform

WASHINGTON -- Sheriffs from around the country lobbied lawmakers on Capitol Hill about illegal immigration.

Christian County Sheriff Brad Cole is part of the delegation.

Sheriff Cole says the group is calling on Congress to act on building a wall along the southern border with Mexico, along with increasing resources for local governments to crack down on illegal immigrants. From gang violence, to car crashes, to drugs pouring over the border, the sheriffs say the situation now is lawlessness and they are tired of partisan gridlock in Washington.
