Accused killer of couple near Tunas, Mo. arrested in Oklahoma

PAULS VALLEY, Okla. -- One of the suspected killers in the shooting deaths of Joe and Brandy Allen is now in police custody in Oklahoma.

The Dallas County Sheriff says officers arrested Billy Medley around 4:00 Tuesday morning. They found him at a house in Pauls Valley, about an hour south of Oklahoma City.

Investigators say Medley left with a woman from the Lebanon area. He had been on the run for more than one week. A ping from the woman's cell phone led police to the house.

The sheriff says he's going to Oklahoma now to interview Medley.

Investigators believe Medley and Jeffrey Stevenson wanted to steal a car from Allen's property. The Allens tried to stop them. Investigators believe they were then shot and killed on their porch.
