NIXA, Mo. -- Four Nixa High School students face felony charges after police say they broke into the school and trashed it.
The incident happened in November. According to court documents, the students broke into the school late at night. They damaged a teacher work room, emptied fire extinguishers and stole money from the kitchen. Documents show it cost the district nearly $8,000 in repairs and replacements.
Nixa school officials would not comment on the burglary, except to say they are students in the district.
