Meet MMJ Taylor Frost.
Storytelling has always been one of Taylor's passions. From a young age, she loved to write, share stories and of course, watch KY3 News.
Taylor started her career in Eastern Kentucky, at our sister-station, WYMT. She was a bureau reporter in Pikeville, Ky. covering five counties for a year and a half. She covered breaking news and told the stories that mattered to those in the community. Such as the 2018 water crisis in Martin County, the death of Officer Scotty Hamilton and how those in Appalachia are moving forward with 'Adventure Tourism' and other money making avenues because many coal mines shut down.
Taylor's time in Appalachia prepared her to come back home to the Ozarks. She grew up in Nixa, the oldest of four siblings. She graduated from New Covenant Academy. During her time in high school, she was the editor of the yearbook and learned a lot about photojournalism. Then, she attended Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Va. and earned a bachelor's degree in Journalism.
On any day, you can find Taylor around town with her camera in hand. She shoots, writes and edits her own stories.
When she is not working, she loves volunteering at church, eating at local restaurants, cooking, going to the Farmer's Market, hiking, spending time with her family and her husband, Tyler. Taylor and Tyler got married in Dec. 2016!
