Meet KY3's Braden Berg.
Braden has lived in the Ozarks his entire life. He spent most of his childhood in Bolivar, Missouri, where he attended K-12th grade. In high school Braden played baseball and basketball.
Braden attended College of the Ozarks in Hollister, Missouri, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts: Journalism. Braden also worked for the college radio station, and started The Point, the campus newscast, where he was the anchor. The Point took several field trips to KY3 to watch newscasts and help volunteer with election nights. During those trips, Braden was able to get his foot in the door at KY3, which eventually led to an internship.
After the internship, Braden was hired on full-time as an evening news producer. After several months in that roll, Braden was given the opportunity to be a reporter with the news station.
Braden is a big St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fan, and spends a lot of free time on the golf course.
