Meet Lexi Spivak.

Lexi became the Ozarks Today Alert Center Anchor for KY3 and KSPR News in February of 2019. She joined the KSPR News team in December of 2016 as a Multi-Media Journalist. She was born and raised in the Chicagoland area.

She started her broadcast career in Spokane, Washington as the Morning Producer & Coordinator and Morning Traffic Reporter for KREM News.

While in Spokane, Lexi was also part of the team that earned a national Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Sports Reporting. She helped field produce the piece alongside one of the station's main anchors and a photojournalist. The story showed how one dedicated swimmer trained at a local hotel pool, achieving national success while fighting numerous distractions and obstacles.

Lexi herself is no stranger to the water. She was a member and captain of the University of Missouri Women's Swim and Dive Team from 2010 to 2014. She graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2014. She was a Reporter, Anchor, and Producer for KOMU News during her time in Columbia.

Lexi still loves to swim when she is not in the newsroom. She also enjoys the outdoors and any activities she can do with her dog, Truman, named after the Mizzou mascot. She loves spending her spare time with her parents, Joe and Shari, and her siblings.
