Can’t go to Mexico? We’re bringing Mexico to you!

Presented by the Secretariat of Foreign Affairs of Mexico, through its Consulate, in Kansas City, MO, and Grupo Latinoamericano.

FIESTA MEXICANA is a celebration of Mexican culture showcasing spirited Mexican music, folkloric dances, Mexican arts and crafts, and family fun. Draped in colorful Mexican costume and custom.

The event will feature a fashion show of authentic Mexican costumes of all the states of Mexico, folkloric dances performed by Grupo Latinoamericano Dance Troup, Hand in Hand Dance Team and Grupo Libertad; as well as an exhibit of arts and crafts. It will also include free gifts to all attendants.
During the family-friendly festival, visitors will clap to the beat of Mexican music and the dance performances. Truly this is a chance to rub shoulders with Mexico!
The event runs from 6:30-9:00 p.m., August 1, in Springfield’s YMCA, 1901 E. Republic Rd. Free Admission.
