Sheriff Dwight D. Franklin announced today that deputies from the Camden County Sheriff's Office arrested 3 subjects on charges of Possession of Controlled Substances with Intent to Sell on June 21st, 2009 on U.S. Highway 54 in Camdenton.
A Camden County Deputy stopped the vehicle for erratic driving at approximately 0254am. Subsequent investigation found suspected marijuana in the vehicle. Approximately 135 grams of suspected marijuana was seized. Missouri State Statutes make possession of more than 35 grams a felony.
The 3 subjects are listed below with photo number of the attachments.
1. Megan L. Ireland, age 19, of Camdenton, MO is charged with 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell. Bond was set in the amount of $35,000.00 and a court date of July 23, 2009. Ireland posted bond and was released. Photo # 2009 1345.001
2. Jonathan H. Lentz, age 20, of Camdenton, MO is charged with 1 count of Possession of Controlled Substances with Intent to Sell, and 8 misdemeanor warrants for Failure to appear. The Possession charge bond is $35,000.00 and the total for the 7 misdemeanor warrants from Miller and Camden Counties, and the Cities of Lake Ozark and Osage Beach is $3175.00 A court date of June 30, 2009 has been set in the Associate Circuit Court of Camden County. 3.Kevin E. Cowart, Jr. , age 29, of Camdenton, MO is charged with 1 count of Possesion of a Controlled Substance, and 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell. Bond has been set by the Associate Circuit Court of Camden County in the amount of $36,000.00 with a court date of June 29, 2009. Photo #2009 1344.001
