Linda Peterson, award winning local artist and internationlly recognized author and designer releases her latest title; How to Make Polymer Beads and Jewelry thru Cico Books. Peterson says, "I'm very proud at the quality of this book. I gave special attention to presenting the information in a clear easy to understand format so that even beginners, who have always wanted to make their own beads can be successful the first time." The Making Beads book features over 300 color step by step photos along with 35 completed projects. You'll learn techniques in how to create our own faux stones such as turquoise, coral, jade and more along with techniques to teach you to sculpt whimsical beads and some caning. Peterson travels domestically and internationally to teach polymer clay and a variety of mixed media art techniques to consumers thru retail locations and at industry trade shows. She has won numerous awards for her work. In early April, she will travel to London to photograph the materials and projects for her next book featuring floral design.
