This week's Wednesday's Child, Joanna also likes to be called "Josie". Joanna is a very sweet young woman with a huge heart. She enjoys singing and playing the piano. Friendly and outgoing are just two words that can be used to describe this amazing girl.
In the tenth grade, Joanna performs in her high school choir and says she plans to attend college and become a choir teacher.
She is a very social person and loves to be with her friends. Some of her favorite activities include reading, riding horses, spending time with friends and shopping. Joanna is very bright and realizes the importance of good grades and is working very hard to improve them. Joanna benefits from counseling, which will need to continue after placement.
The caseworker prefers a two-parent home; however, all family types will be considered.
Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services. This is a LEGAL RISK ADOPTIVE PLACEMENT. In a legal risk adoptive placement, it is expected that the family will eventually adopt the child, even though the birth parents' right have not been fully terminated at the time of placement.
