Say hello to a sweet girl who always has a smile on her face! When around Erica you just can't help but grin, as her positive outlook on life is contagious. Erica enjoys working and does an excellent job; she is a very hard worker. Her favorite interests right now are Justin Beiber and caring for animals. She would enjoy a job at a vet's office or humane society. Her favorite color is purple and as a matter of fact, Erica would like to have her room consist of violet walls with a big white heart, which is a perfect symbol of Erica's big heart! Erica says she would like to help with chores that might take more than one person, but will do anything asked of her; she has a great attitude. In the eleventh grade, this young woman is smart and a quick learner. Easygoing, this teen also loves to be social. Erica benefits from counseling, which may need to continue after placement. There is a possibility that Erica will be able to live independently given the right people to assist her in making this possible. She will be the first to tell you she wants to be independent and make her own decisions, but does well following rules. Erica would love to be part of a family who has younger children, to take on the big sister role. She would also appreciate having a family who has pets; she would like to be able to have animal care as her chore. This giving child is a wonderful person and hopes to be in a loving home. Erica has siblings and other family members with whom she would like to maintain contact. The caseworker prefers a two-parent or single-mother family in the Springfield, Missouri area (so that she can stay in touch with relatives); however, all types of families will be considered. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
