One day you just might see Brooke’s masterpieces hanging in a museum! Art is her passion, and many of her works are done in purple, her favorite color. Music provides a nice background for hanging out with friends; and when she can't be with them physically, she is on Facebook chatting with her favorite people. She also enjoys doing crafts.
Brooke would love to live in the country someday so that she can be around animals, and so she can be outside when the weather is warm. She prefers staying active, playing basketball and volleyball. When she gets downtime, she likes to read, write (stories, poems, songs, journaling) and watch TV. Outgoing and friendly, Brooke is in the eighth grade.
She stays motivated in school because she is so enthusiastic about learning, but a pat on the back from one of her teachers still means the world to her! Art is her favorite subject and this teen is very creative and artistic.
She benefits from counseling, which may need to continue after placement. Brooke would like, and feels she needs, a loving, caring family who is nice, but who cares enough to set limits and make rules. She wants a family who will listen to and respect what she has to say. She does not have a preference as to whether there are older or younger children, but she would like the ability to be around people her age.
All family types will be considered. Brooke has siblings and grandparents with whom she remains in contact. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
