Alexus is a spunky, smart girl who is full of energy! She enjoys reading, singing, coloring, drawing, gymnastics and watching TV. Alexus attends church regularly and likes participating in extra activities offered by the church.
In the fourth grade, this wonderful child makes above average grades and does very well in reading. She interacts well with her peers and has had perfect attendance and received a certificate from the principal for this honor. She enjoys writing and writes in her journal almost everyday. Those writing skills will come in handy as her goal is to one day become a teacher.
Alexus is also helpful and completes her chores nicely. She benefits from counseling, which will need to continue after placement. The caseworker would prefer to place her in a two-parent home; however, all family types will be considered. The best family for Alexus would be one who is affectionate, patient, firm yet understanding, builds her self-esteem, and supports her interests so that she can grow up to be the best person she can be.
She has a brother and sister with whom she hopes to remain in contact. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
