Elijah is a sweet, friendly and outgoing 9 year-old boy who enjoys most any outdoor activity. He is active in Boy Scouts, loves to play sports, ride his bike and go fishing. He also loves Hot Wheels, singing and dancing, and the Movie "Cars". When he grows up he wants to be a NASCAR driver or a cowboy. As you can see, his interests are broad and plentiful in his youthful exuberance.
In the classroom, Elijah excels in spelling. He struggles with math and reading. In fact, he just recently won 1st place in the science fair. He is also a good friend to others and enjoys his social time. He is described as a smart boy who is perceptive and eager to learn.
His caseworker recommends a two-parent family with consistent expectations; however, all family types will be considered. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services. This is a LEGAL RISK ADOPTIVE PLACEMENT. In a legal risk placement, it is expected that the family will eventually adopt the children, even though the birth parents' rights have not been fully terminated at the time of placement.
