Small Tornado Confirmed in Oregon County

The National Weather Service confirmed a weak EF-0 tornado touched down Tuesday three miles southeast of Thomasville.

The NWS survey determined the tornado touched down in an open field and did very little damage. Winds reached 70 miles an hour. The tornado's path was 20 yards wide.
