Natalie Nunn

NATALIE RE-LOCATED TO TEXAS WITH HER FAMILY IN JUNE 2012.

There’s no place like home!  For Natalie, that is so true.

Natalie grew up in Marshfield, MO. When it was time for college she stuck close to home choosing to attend Evangel University.  Natalie majored in Electronic Media and graduated in 3 years with honors.   During her last semester Natalie signed on-air at KSPR for the first time.  It was a little tricky living in the dorms and waking up at 3am to go to work!

In the spring of 2006 Natalie was asked to fill-in for weather.  She did it once and knew that was what she wanted to do.  A semester later, Natalie enrolled at Mississippi State.  She received her certificate in broadcast meteorology in September 2009.  The most memorable weather event Natalie has covered is the Ice Storm of 2007.

In 2008 Natalie was named one of Springfield Business Journals 40 Under  40.  She has been featured in various publications throughout the Ozarks.  Natalie has traveled to dozens of local schools to teach kids about the crazy Missouri weather.  She’s a big believer in volunteering her time,  she is on the board of the Regional Girls Shelter and emcees various events throughout the year.

Natalie’s favorite job title is wife/mom.  On August 1, 2008 she married her best friend, Frank.  June 23, 2010 they welcomed a sweet little red head to the family, their son Hays.  Natalie is crazy about her English Bulldog, Tug, spending time at Lake of the Ozarks with her big family, pilates, and cupcakes.
