Areas of rain moved through the Ozarks today with some areas picking up over .50" of precipitation in some spots. Not everyone saw the rain though.
Another small chance for some rain will exist on Thursday. I feel that it will not be as widespread though as what we saw today.
A little fog may be around in the morning as well. By the afternoon very warm conditions will be present and that very muggy atmosphere will still be in place. It is feeling rather tropical and nothing like fall here during this first week of October.
Fall like weather will arrive by this weekend. A strong cold front with cool Canadian air will push in late Friday. This front will bring with it a round of storms. A few strong storms are possible across far western MO Friday night. The line of storms should weaken as it moves east though.
Daytime highs for the weekend will be in the low 60's and overnight lows will be in the upper 30's.
Have a great week!
