Tonight storms will develop to our west. Some of those storms could be severe but the main risk will be on Tuesday. The Storm Prediction Center has the Ozarks in a slight risk. It still appears damaging winds will be the main threat with a few isolated tornadoes.

The storms will start in the morning to the west and move into the area. It looks like the time frame will be 11am to 4pm in Springfield. The storms will really start to strengthen into a line east of Springfield.

We will see a good round of rain. Some places could pick up 1" - 2". By Wednesday the cold air will return and there will be some flurries.

More seasonable weather will continue the rest of the week.
