Good morning!
Our neighbors to the north woke up to a 2nd consecutive day of snow on the ground. Here is a picture I grabbed from the Kansas City Star.

Our temperatures in SWMO are just too warm and will remain that way the rest of the day. Here is a look at the too warm, 9:00am temps:

BE WARNED! IT WON'T GET MUCH WARMER!
The low pressure that is causing all of this messy weather is still spinning away over our area. By Weds. evening it should be finally moving out. Here is a current model run for this morning.

The light rain and mist will continue as all of the moisture wraps around. The QPF is suggesting more rain for today than they did yesterday. So far, I tend to agree with that.

This is suggesting around .25" for most of our area. Tonight will be another one with temperatures near freezing and the moisture sticking around. I do think it will dry up before temps. drop to the freezing mark so snow flurries will be few and far between.
There is a storm a' brewing for next Sun/Mon. Models keep slowing this bad boy down which isn't ideal for Thanksgiving travel plans. It first showed late Sat. and now it's keeping most of Monday dry (according to the GFS). Here is a look at Tuesday... notice the STRONG trough digging in along with the rain.

It could be a few cold days leading up to Thanksgiving. It will be something to watch.
Please stay warm and check back tomorrow!
