Hello and thanks for stopping by the KSPR Weather Blog!
Thursday's rain set a daily record in Springfield.

Other areas of the Ozarks received anywhere from an inch to over 5 inches in some isolated locations. Incidentally, the number above comes from the National Weather Service at the airport. My backyard on the west side of town received 2.20" inches.
Meantime, the rain is done for awhile. High pressure builds in Saturday and hangs on through Sunday.

Trick or treating Saturday night? You might want to bring a jacket along as temperatures drop quickly after sunset.

Before you go to bed Saturday don't forget to set your clocks back an hour. Daylight Saving Time comes to an end at 2am.
Sunday looks beautiful with afternoons high back into the lower to middle 60s.
The week ahead looks great as well with a couple of dry cold fronts moving through keeping afternoon highs in the lower 60s and overnight lows a few degrees either side of 40.
Please, go out and make it a GREAT and SAFE Halloween weekend!
