Friday 9:00am- Cool Down

By KSPR Weather

Good morning!  Ready for better weather?  I know I am!

A strong cold front has cleared our area and left us with much colder air.  Be prepared for a drop in your temperatures for today.  They should even out in the mid-40's this afternoon. BRRR!!!

Yesterday was a record setting rainfall for Springfield.  1.7"!  Today, a few showers will linger to our east as the cold front and low pressure linger in our area.  An additional .25" of rain could be possible.  Flash flooding is a serious threat for that area.

A few light showers could be possible during the morning hours for everyone else.  I would expect more of a mist than anything else.

Saturday the front will be well to the east and nice weather will prevail!  I can't wait.  Your Halloween forecast looks nice.

You may want to bundle your little ghosts and gobblins up... it will be chilly.

Next week looks beautiful!  I am very excited.
I also wanted to say "thank you" for bearing with me on the short posts.  The past 2 weeks have been crazy working at 2 different places.  Next week will be wonderful and we hope you like our new look!
