Good morning! I hope everyone can take a little time to enjoy the sunshine we will see today. It may not stick around for long.
Today we will stay dry, it will be windy, and warmer. A cold front well to our west will bring our next shot of rain.

Timing this front is a little bit tricky. One model will lag the front into the area late Thursday while other show the rain arriving early Thursday. This morning I feel things have been sped up a bit. Let's look through the various options:
This model is for Thursday morning, as you see, the rain staying well to the west.

Here is a look at Thursday's morning GFS: It brings the rain a little closer, a little earlier.

The rain will move through and will slow down. That will allow rainfall totals to add up. This event will stretch into our Friday. Here is a look at the 3 day QPF. It shows rainfall totals close to an inch, with heavier rain to our eastern counties.

Like we need anymore rain, Right????
One thing to mention... I've put the rain chance back into the forecast for Sunday. ugh... I'm hoping this will change.. but right now it's not looking like it:

Enjoy your day!
