Happy Monday morning! What a wonderful weekend here in the Ozarks. From a 70 degree day to temps. in the 30's.
Today temperatures will stay on the cool side. Most places will get to the high-30's. Winds will shift in from the south today and our dewpoints will start to raise. This morning dewpoints were in the single digits.
Chances for winter precipitation will enter our forecast tonight and increase into Tuesday morning. The best chance of seeing this will stay to the south.
A very strong trough is digging out to the West and will move east and into our area Tuesday.

As winds shift in from the south, lower levels will saturate over the cold air we will be seeing. We are looking at the possibility of LIGHT rain, LIGHT freezing rain, Sleet and Snow. Here is the 24 hour forecast. The majority of precip. looks to stay south.

As temperatures rise Tuesday the wintery precip. that is left-over will start to change to rain. There is a time we could see a wintery mix. Here is the 36 hour forecast.

A Winter Weather Advisory has NOT been issued, but wouldn't be surprised if that happens as things could easily get slippery out there. A brief period of light snow possible Tuesday night as the things move on out... no accumulation is expected.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday! Tomorrow could get interesting so check back ....
