Welcome back to the KSPR Weather Blog.
Well the winter weather advisory continues for our Missouri counties and a Winter Storm Warning for our Arkansas counties.
This storm has been an interesting one to say the least. From Friday showing some 14"+ of snow for parts of the viewing area to now only a few in some areas.
The reason for the lack of accumulation has been the WARM ground temperatures as the snow fell and melted with many surface barely above freezing.
As nightfall sets temps. will drop and more sticking with occur but with only a few hours left of snowfall, we still won't have much for the exception of areas along MO and AR border.

Our models still wanting to spit out an additional 2"-3", I really feel the best chance for that will be across the MO and AR line and especially in northern AR.

After the snow ends, the temps. are really going to drop and it is going to be windy and cold tomorrow. Another chance of some precip. will come along late in the week, but nothing too major.
