A new father is inspired to show the world kindness. Ryan Garcia's new baby encouraged him to start a blog, 366randomacts.org, and resolve to perform random acts of kindness for the entire year.
For all of 2012, he will do at least one random act of kindness a day. He says he wanted to do something to inspire his daughter in the future and he wanted to be a better person.
He's done things like write a letter to his 6th grade teacher to thank her for being his favorite, he took firefighters to lunch, and sent a letter of condolence to a family who lost their son in Afghanistan.
Next week is random acts of kindness week. Maybe this story will inspire you to do something nice for no reason at all.
