A woman who drove her car into a retention pond in Kokomo last week died Thursday.
According to officials, Beth Leonard, 51, was traveling northbound on Albright Road when she drove off the east side of the road and into a nearby retention pond.
Rescue crews found her unconscious inside her car and she was airlifted to Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said they believe a medical issue could have contributed to the crash.
