Court approves Ener1's plan to repay creditors

Enerdel's bankrupt parent company released a plan to repay its creditors Thursday.

Enerdel's bankrupt parent company released a plan to repay its creditors Thursday.

A court has approved Ener1’s plan to repay its creditors. The New York-based company will secure $86 million to restructure and pay off long-term debt.

Enerdel received a $118 million grant from the Department of Energy to make  electric car batteries.
