  7. Kevin Lighty

Dreams do come true. I know because I'm living my childhood dream. I grew up in a very small town in Indiana named Veedersburg. I've had a fascination with weather as far back as I can remember to my days as a 4 year old boy that watched storms from my living room window. I was so intrigued by what was going on but at the same time so scared watching these storms to a point that tears would run down my face from being frightened, but nothing could tear me away from watching these storms no matter how scared I might have been. Soon the fear turned into pure passion for the love of weather. I would constantly monitor other TV station forecasts and I always looked forward to the days that would bring bad weather to my area.

  13. Winter Weather Update

It looks like the wintry precipitation is slowly moving out of the Ozarks. While there is still plenty of heavy sleet and freezing rain in our eastern counties, areas to the west are now reporting just spotty activity. Some dry air is punching through this system, so things will gradually decrease in the next few hours.
