Choir to perform at Halfway-area church

Concordia Lutheran Church, at 17906 Garden Lane, will host the Concordia College Tour Choir Sunday at 7 p.m.

The choir will perform a musical performance of "Let the People Praise Thee."

Reading Day planned at mall

Reading Day will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Valley Mall.

The event will include a parade at 10 a.m., with magic by Michael T to follow at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Several award-winning authors will be on hand for the day’s events. Entertainment will be provided by past and present Washington County Teen Idols, and the Hagerstown Children's Theater Broadway-bound singers at 12:30 p.m.

Children will receive a free book while supplies last.



Family Fun Day at mall Sunday

The Herald-Mail Co. will sponsor a Family Fun Day on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Valley Mall.

The event will include exhibits, games, talent contest, rock climbing, pet adoption, Maryland Child Identity Program (with pictures and digital video), and other family-related activities.



Museum ramble set for Saturday

The annual Washington County Museum Ramble is planned Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m.
